The Institute is positioned to conduct research on the grand strategy of integrated security and development and the new form of human civilization, which is urgently needed by the country. The research topics will focus on big strategic and ideological issues such as the changing world order and world leadership, and the medium and long term research will mainly be "strategic assessment of The Times" to answer the major issues involving security and development that will take a longer time to complete. Since its establishment in 2024, Chenghai Institute has launched several strategically significant research programmes and major projects, and has succesively published a series of research reports and innovative achievements with high academic value.
