Chenghai Institute of Global Development and Security, Renmin University of China, was established by Mr. Ye Chenghai, an alumnus of the School of International Studies, Renmin University of China, with generous donations. It is a research institute for grand strategic studies grounded in rigorous academic inquiry. As a high-end ideological and international research institution, the Institute takes providing ideological products as its mission to carry out the urgently needed grand strategy of overall development and security as well as the big ideological research on the new form of human civilization, focusing on China's "global" identity and the resulting changed world order.
